In the implementation of the directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and as considerable efforts made by Dr. Alay Al-Attar, the Rector of Northern Technical University, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance had made a relentless effort to realize the target of entering, for the first time, the Arab University Ranking of British Times Higher Education for the Arab Universities for the year 2021. Northern Technical University has ranked 9 at the level of Iraq and 91-100 at the Arab level.
This classification is based basically on 16 performance indicators distributed over five axes: education, research, incitation, society, international view. 125 Universities from 14 countries had been classified together with 30 unranked universities were added to the results, meaning that they provided unfulfilled data for classification competition.
Worth noting that Arab Universities Rankings is issued by British Times Higher Education, which deals with international and Arab universities’ affairs and rankings.
