Professor at Northern Technical University is Committee Member for Developing Teaching Methods Curriculum

With support and follow-up from Dr. Ali’a Abbas AL-Attar, the President of Northern Technical University, Dr. Fawaz Fadil, the professor in Mosul Technical Institute, has been chosen as a team member for developing the curriculum of teaching methods toward integrated education in the Iraqi universities. Dr. Fawaz has been chosen by the UNDP, the Developing and Acceleration Laboratories, after passing the nomination and selection stage.

The committee’s assignment comes as a cooperation with the Department of Studies, Planning, and follow-up of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The team’s assignment, which involves members from all the Iraqi governorates, is to build a joint work plan to develop the curriculum for teaching methods to be appropriate with the integrated education, which is in the present and future use.

Notably, Dr. Fawaz Fadil holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Sheffield University, United Kingdom. He also holds an associate fellowship certificate from the Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. Dr. Fawaz has several international participations for teaching and learning Conferences in the UK. He is also an organizer of several conferences and workshops, including E-learning and integrated education.
