UNICEF Delegation’s team Visits The Technical and Vocational Teaching and Training Project in Northern Technical University

Prof. Dr. Alia Al-Attar, the Rector of Northern Technical University, received the UNICEF delegation’s team to examine the UN Technical and Vocational Teaching and Training Project in Northern Technical University. The purpose of the team’s visit was to find out the university’s preparations to launch the second stage of the project, which would be in construction and civil engineering specialization. The meeting discussed issues related to the requirements and mechanism of implementing the second stage of the program along with the requirements needed to implement the Bologna process in construction and civil engineering specialization in the university; as a second stage. The meeting was attended by all the members of the supreme committee in charge of monitoring the implementation of the project, included: Dr. Cathrine Issc, Head of Bologna Process Implementation, Biza, Italy.

The meeting dealt with the tasks and activities the university will carry out as a part of the process and the mechanism of forming committees.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Alia presented the university shield to the delegation for their valuable cooperation in implementing the project in the university.
